Pouring out

A charming or old ming vase is beautiful to behold but mostly vessels are made to contain and to pour out something.  Even a teapot knows that! I’m a little teapot pour me out!   The treasure that you have inside you needs to be poured out.  God made you great vessels to pour His treasure upon the world.  Another word for pouring is dispensing.  We are vessels of the Lord and the Gk word dia konos   translated minister literally mean a “through dispenser.”  If we are ministers of God you are a “through dispenser” of God!

This word is often translated servant or deacon. What are you dispensing or serving?  God himself!  God is dispensed through His sons and daughters.  We are servants or servers. We don’t serve tea to people or serve cakes, but we serve God!

While the best description of the quality of Gods gifts, is “sons.” (John 3.16)  (God so loves the world that He gives His sons and daughters to the world.)

The best description of the quantity of His giving is pouring.  Jesus blood was poured out for the world.   I’m poured out like wax… He poured out His life and brought life to the world. He also pours out His Spirit in Acts 2, and Jesus said that His brethren would have water pouring out from their life too.   “He that believeth on me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living. Then out of your belly will flow rivers of living water. John 7:38

There is a river flowing from Gods temple or people.  And it shall be that every living thing that moves, wherever the rivers go, will live. There will be a very great multitude of fish because these waters go there; for they will be healed, and everything will live wherever the river goes. Ezekiel 47:9

Friend, the River is Him.  There is a river flowing out of you. It’s got power to move people and change hearts. You can dispense God to your world and they are waiting for healing and Life.
