The purpose of my blog is to give weekly encouragement to trust God even when it seems you can’t track Him or understand what He is doing in your life right now.

My wife Anneke and I pastored Manukau New Life Church, in New Zealand, for over 25 years after taking over from David and Margaret McCracken. We remain on staff at the Church but are freer to work with other churches. We minister in The Netherlands and other European nations each year and as part of the national executive of New Life Churches preach and talk with leaders in other Churches around New Zealand too.

We are truly blessed with three awesome adult children and six grandchildren so far!

I love it when people find freedom from anything, guilt, shame religion, limitations, confusion, doubt etc. I hope my weekly blog will help you get free, stay free or stay encouraged all week. If you’re a preacher, you could find a message there too!

PS if you want a daily thought to help you each day- check out my tweets  @Pastounded.  We are often the product of our thinking so these are to get you thinking great thoughts.  I’ve been a  follower of Jesus for 30 years so no apologies for Biblical truths. I have found while counseling and coaching people over the years that the Truth of the Bible works in people’s lives and families and actually are the only thing that works for the big questions in life.  My tweets are about four subject matters; Relationships, Personal growth, Discipleship, and Sonship.
